Weeks before construction completion, the client decided he would like to add a lift to this ultra-modern, off shutter concrete residence.
Situated in an ideal corner of the house, Astratto confirmed and designed a lift shaft / openings in existing slabs. Using cutting edge reinforcing advances (external carbon fibre reinforcing sheets), existing slabs were cut and further reinforced to accomodate and overcome the localised weakening due to the cutting.
