Astratto Engineering were requested to inspect and recommend measures to stabilise the legs of four silo extensions at the Scribante concrete batch plant in Laezonia.
Applying structural stability first principles, remedial measures were recommended for the silo supports to ensure the additional height and load would not compromise the structural integrity of the silos and batch plant as a whole.
